Milk goes through a lot of processing to get to the typical state you find in a standard milk jug. Raw probably means that it didn't get pasteurized, though it could mean a few other things as well. It's a fallback for dairy farmers who don't want to go through the organic certification process (which entails positively verifying that all your food sources don't use non-organic material, which is a pain). I don't know how rigorously "raw" is vetted by the USDA, though, so it could cover a wide variety of products. Grass-fed would imply that those cows do get to roam a little, though, instead of being in the barn 24/7, so there's that.

That's why it's best to know the farm that you buy the raw milk from. My parents used to sell their raw milk under the table to a few folks (in glass bottles before that became a thing again), but they never went into actual production cycles like some farms do. It's when you scale up that inattention can breed problems, either that or if the farm's just not well kept in the first place. Some people say that pasteurizing kills some beneficial microbes as well, so...*shrug*.

Sure, they did a good job condensing it down, and the inability to insert expansion cards turned out to be pretty inconsequential. I'm just bemused by some Apple designer sticking a handle on it because they thought people would transport their \\c from place to place. I can't speak for everyone, but the one I grew up with stayed in one place pretty much permanently.

A fair point, but one could also say that you should be seeing a downturn in percentages because testing has only just fully become an option for anyone who wants one. If we compare to a day with a similar number of tests back when people were taking more care, such as 5/14, we see 20/1916, or about 1% positive. 5/21 was 44/2176, or about 2%.

Just, no. Past generations made the same jokes about guys with guitars who didn't know music theory. Do you think folks like KISS are some kind of musical geniuses? No, it's just that as time goes on the better artists are remembered better and rise to the surface, while the current generation seems flooded - and that some of the new techniques and tools that people are using now get incorporated into music theory taught in the future, making those artists look even better in hindsight.
